I've tried so many times
to get things right they just had to be great
And I know that never works
It builds my pride not my faith
So I surrender this part
I give you all my heart
There's no such thing as perfect
It doesn't even happen
But if you give your heart to Jesus
Things will happen
The only thing that matters
Is a heart for God in serving
It gains eternal value
And when things get rough...
It stops the searching.
How much of ourselves would be left if we made it a priority to daily give our whole selves to God? What would our lives be like if we were truly committed to being content to doing the work He wants to accomplish through us and all this being done in His timing not ours?
