What is Sin?

What is Sin? Sin is anything that God has forbidden his Children (Christians) to do
Any disobedient act towards God is sin. Also sin seperates us from God. So why is it hard to break?

You may have not planned to be reading this right now. If so all the glory and praise to God for misdirecting you. That is and was my prayer when I wrote this blog. That people who were in a time of temptation would be drawn to the truth. - God providing a way out.

1. Realize who is behind it. When we sin we create a doorway of demonic forces to control our lives in that area. Thus making it more and more dificult to get out of bondage (drunkeness, lying, pornography, adultery to name a few)

2 It is only through Christ do we have victory over sin - That means repentance.

3 Start everyday by equipping yourself with "the Armor of God" Ehesians 6

The Armor of God

¹⁰ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹ Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³ Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵ and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷ Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

¹⁸ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. ¹⁹ Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Sin is demonic. You need Jesus in order to have the victory

If you don't know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior

Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord

Believe in your heart God raised him the dead

and you will be saved Romans 10 9-10

One last thing: I f you are a Christian and find yourself exalting something in your life higher than your devotion to God you are very likely inviting demons into the picture to really mess you up. Anything higher than a believer's devotion and love for God is an idol. God hates them and the Devil uses them to make God's children stray and prolong his blessings. Sound familiar?
