Ever wanted more than you have?
Ever not seen what you have is valuable?
How about as a person?
Ever wanted to be someone else?
Be good at things that aren't natural strengths?
I've been there.
I am comforted with these words
I made you the way I made you for a purpose.
The purpose wouldn't be there if you weren't who you are.
Embrace your weakness knowing through me you will be made strong
Celebrate your strengths recognizing I am the author of them
And give me all the Glory, Honour, and Praise
for everything that has happened and will happen in your life.
How much of ourselves would be left if we made it a priority to daily give our whole selves to God? What would our lives be like if we were truly committed to being content to doing the work He wants to accomplish through us and all this being done in His timing not ours?
